Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd started her combat sports training at the age of fourteen. She studied boxing, kickboxing and wrestling prior to making her debut appearance as an amateur at WCFC in front of Jaimee Nievera. Ladd was on a stunning three-fight winning streak in Ultimate Reno Combat. In each of the three bouts she beat her opponent right in the first round. Aspen returned to WCFC and defeated Leslie Rodriguez through a unanimous decision. Aspen was already defeated Silvia Baeghian and Maddy Simmons, before taking against Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia dominated Aspen to defeat her in a unanimous vote, leaving the mark of a loss on Aspen's records as an amateur. Ladd took her match in a fight with Roma Pawelek to improve to an 8-1 record. Aspen was first introduced to the sport in the year 2015 when she signed to Invicta FC for her professional debut. Invicta Fc 11, she defeated Ana Carolina Vidal and won the bout in the first round by TKO. Invicta 16 also saw Aspen rise up to Bantamweight after winning the fight against Amanda Cooper by armbar in the second round. Aspen used superior wrestling to beat McGill in third round TKO. Aspen was then able to face Jessica Hoy for Invicta FC18 in a catchweight at 138.1lb. Ladd was not in a position to make it, however, Aspen took the victory and defeated Hoy by TKO. Invicta FC, 21 was her final promotion bout. Invicta FC 21, Eubanks prevailed by a majority vote. Her UFC debut took place at UFC Fight Night 118 when she took on Lina Lansberg. She dominated Lina by pound-for-pound, and took the TKO round later in the 2nd. Ladd remained in the lead as she picked up an even bigger victory against Tonya Avinger at UFC 229 with her next bout. Ladd stopped Evinger's fight after the first round. Also, she was awarded the reward for her performance on the night. Invicta FC's Sijara Eubanks was her opponent for a rematch at UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against Lee. This was her first big fight. Ladd, who won an unanimous decision in an intense back and forth battle among the pair of fighters, received the Fight of the Night bonuses. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie only needed 16 seconds to stop Ladd and her streak. Yana Knitskaya in the UFC 7 ESPN 7's 3rd round, was defeated by Randamie. She faced Norma Dumont as a substitute in her last fight with the UFC at UFC Fight Night 195. The fight was a unanimous decision.
