She was born in Santa Monica California, the United States of America on November 26 the 26th of November, 1986. The singer is the sole child of Vincenzo Barba. At the age of six she and her family moved into Point Pleasant New Jersey. Red Bank Catholic High School was where she got her education formal within New Jersey. Her education continued through Catholic University where she earned an undergraduate degree in architecture. From the age of 4 when she started playing the violin and earned the title Violin Girl. In recognition of her skills the violinist was referred to by that name. She was a violin teacher for children from the neighborhood. She also sang Free beginning in 1976 during the auditions for American Idol's sixth season when she was age 19. But she was eliminated following finishing 16th on the show. The singer has performed a variety of songs like 2009's "The Songs of Christmas" and 2010's Out for Blood. She has also appeared on some television shows like Jimmy Kimmel Live!. Antonella Barba was an American singer who gained fame following her participation in American Idol's season six. After being eliminated after reaching the top 16 positions in the competition the show, she decided to test her hand at it on the stage. In the past, she appeared in small-scale films in addition to appearing on Fear Factor season 12 in the role of a contestant. Daily Mail reported that on the 21st of November, 2019, she was given the equivalent of four years for conspiracy to sell fentanyl. She pleaded guilty back in July to possessing more than 4000 grams of fentanyl with the intention to distribute. The singer was however detained in Virginia at the end of October in 2018, after she attempted to transfer two pounds of fentanyl into a stashhouse.
